Check out Tomer Weather Solutions: www.tomerweathersolutions.com

I often provide weather forecasts for mountain climbers and expeditions around the world.  I'm a mountain climber myself so I understand what Teams need to succeed on the mountain.  My goal is to get everyone to the summit safely in the best weather windows.

I've forecasted for over 50 mountains around the world.  Past jobs include Mount Everest, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, Nanga Parbat, Denali, Aconcagua, Pico De Orizaba, Rainier, California 14ers, and all of Colorado's 14ers.

My forecasts are said to be more accurate and reliable than Meteotest and others.
"We stacked your forecasts up against MeteoTest everyday, and yours were always more accurate, more reliable." - Dr. Jon Kedrowski, Professional Mountaineer, Everest Summiteer

My philosophy is to cultivate success on the mountain. I can provide up to 4 weather updates per day along with 24/7 expedition support. Every forecast is scrutinized and only the best data is used. I send Teams easy to understand graphs of max summit & mid-mountain winds, moisture and snowfall. www.tomerweathersolutions.com

Post #89: Tomer's Trails: Vail Pass Backcountry Skiing & Avalanche Safety

Met up with JC Norling and Jon Kedrowski for some backcountry skiing.  We skinned up to Uneva Peak and chatted about avalanche conditions along the way, including slope angle, types of snow, and even did a couple tap/tilt tests by digging a snow pit.  JC teaches avalanche safety courses at Colorado Mountain College.  Think of the the snowpack like a game of Jenga....take a look:
